This new 11-day American Revolution cruise allows you to explore the quaint towns and historic cities that have shaped our nation, including Colonial Williamsburg, a living history museum with period-specific tradespeople, shopkeepers, and political figures.

Battlefields, Yorktown & Jamestown

Step onto the last battlefield of the Revolutionary War in Yorktown and travel to Jamestown, the site of the first English settlement in the New World. Explore our Nation’s capital, the Smithsonian exhibitions, and the area’s many historic monuments, before visiting Mount Vernon, George Washington’s iconic 18th-century home.

Educators, Experts and Re-Enactors

This unique cruise only happens twice a year with American Revolution History Experts provided by the cruise line, in addition to your trip leader Glenn Rawson. It sells out every year! 

This will be an incredible educational tour where you’ll have the chance to experience some of the most important places including the homes of several of the Founding Fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence. Founding Fathers Trip Highlights

Day 1: Arrive in Baltimore: Depending on your flight schedule, you will arrive in Baltimore and spend part of the day touring the area before staying the night at a hotel near the port. 

 Day 2: Baltimore, MD: Explore the decks of the legendary ships and cobblestone streets of the waterfront inner harbor. Cruise past Fort McHenry, where the battle that inspired Francis Scott Key’s “Star-Spangled Banner” was fought.

Day 3: Norfolk, VA: Enjoy tours of historic districts, museums, restored homes, and the Norfolk Naval Station.

Day 4: Williamsburg, VA: The restored 18th-century capital of Britain’s largest empire outpost in the New World. Once the political and economic center of the Virginia Colony, it is today the world’s premiere living history site. 

Day 5: Yorktown, VA: Explore the site of the final battle of the American Revolution and travel back in time at Jamestown Settlement, a museum of 17th century American history. 

Day 6: Washington, DC: Take your choice of visiting many museums, the Capital building, monuments and Arlington Cemetery.

Day 7: Mount Vernon, VA: Visit George Washington’s estate

Day 8: Cruising Along the Potomac River

Day 9: Cambridge, MD: Take your choice of various excursions  and experience the diverse wildlife of the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge

Day 10: St. Michaels, MD: Dock at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, once a famed shipbuilding village now dedicated to preserving history.

Day 11: Annapolis, MD: Serving briefly as the nation’s capital in 1783, your guide will introduce you to 350 years of living history, architecture and folklore, visiting homes of signers of the Declaration of Independence.
